Bestselling Author, Natasha Wing, Celebrates Back-to-School with Blog Tour

Night Before Series Highlights Childhood Milestones

Fort Collins, CO.—August 27, 2013—Local author Natasha Wing is celebrating back-to-school with a blog tour September 1-7, 2103.  Blog Tours allow authors/illustrators, students, educators and book lovers to connect “virtually” through interviews on websites, podcasts, blog sites and on-line radio shows.  Wing’s school-themed books – The Night before Kindergarten, The Night Before Preschool and The Night Before First Grade – are currently on the Publishers Weekly bestsellers list.  These books along with others in her Night Before series are favorites of parents and educators.

“My editor actually came up with the idea for a Kindergarten version when she overheard a child on the New York subway talk about how excited she was about starting school,” said Wing. “Then we worked together to come up with a story that would capture both the nervousness and excitement a child, and the parents, feel.”

About The Night Before Series
Based on the popular story, The Night Before Christmas. Wing’s stories are about families celebrating holidays and milestones in kids’ lives such as the first day of school and losing a tooth. Her titles include The Night Before Easter, the original book in the series, which was published in 1999, and The Night Before Kindergarten, the highest-selling title which has regularly been on bestseller lists since its publication in 2001. The Night Before My Birthday is set for release in January 2014.
